About Us
Our board is composed of individuals with both lived and academic experience in trauma, recovery, and systems of care. This dual perspective informs our approach, ensuring that our work remains both evidence-informed and grounded in real-world understanding.

Our Trauma-Informed Roots
Restoration Recovery Collective, Inc. was founded by survivors and allies who believe that healing is possible. Our work is grounded in lived experience of trauma, loss, and restoration. We understand what it means to be broken and to rebuild, and that perspective shapes our commitment to creating spaces where healing is real and identity can be restored.
Impact
Incarceration is often the result of repeated patterns shaped by trauma, environment, and unmet needs, but those patterns are not a person’s identity. We work to help individuals separate who they are from what they have experienced, creating a foundation for accountability, growth, and lasting restoration.
